Challenge 19

I've never tried to do this before, it was fun learning something new! Btw Palumbo Photography is my sister in law's business, I didn't just gank some random person's baby pictures hehe

yeah I had some issues with the rubber duck, I might try a darker yellow for the body, or maybe change the opacity of the layer so it's not overly bright compared to the rest of the pic. The hairs on the top of his head were tough to do also.

That tiger is freakin awesome, I love the vibrance!

nice job pebbiez! just one thing, perhaps put some rosiness in the baby's cheeks babies tend to have them as far as i know :)

Here something I did for my Aunt with her mom a couple of months ago.

Nice Pebbiez. Your first try, cool. Skin color is a "you know what!" I agree with Zee about the rosiness. The arms seem fine but the face needs rosiness overall, and Hoogle suggested for mine that I use the photo warming filter (incl. the arms). That would help. As for the ducky, it probably just needs some desaturation, curves or levels for instance. Good job with the hair (but, just one spot on the right side of forehead...). :D

I agree with you about those tigers. Great job there Zeealex!

Im going to be honest... It needs work.

Being honest too. As some here know I only dabble on weekends and second the critic that matter most had it blown up and framed. If you want to be a critic explain what you see wrong and not just throw "It needs work" out there.
Just my opinion.

i actually kind of like the rubber duck as it is. looks pretty awesome XD.

and thanks be to you both about the tiger :)

Nice. I'm glad you didn't overdo the color; the subtlety is good. My only comment is the greens are all the same and it would have a lot more depth if they were varied.
I did put different shades of green in there, but without blending them in the point where you can't tell, it looked wierd as the greenery around council estate buildings in Britain are very bland. It's probably why whoever put this image on deviant art made it black and white. :)
Looking at it for a second time now though, I should probably have made the wood a bit darker by the side of the canal.

I don't know whether it's my rubbish eye sight, but I think there is a blue tone to the face. Everything else looks really good though!
