Well, actually, if you look through the thread itself, you will see that we get plenty of feedback from participants. I too wish there was more from members who don't enter, but that is their choice. Besides, I am sure people view it as it is going along. They may appreciate the work but lots of people don't post their thoughts.

And we all do it because we want to learn new skills or get more proficient at the ones we know but don't use often. Do it for love of Photoshop! I know you do.

i do it because i like to do it , it challenges me too learn , it helps me too relax , i dont do it to win , THERE IS NOTHING TO WIN LOL ,
but i like to win because that means artists who have similar talent like the image you created thats all , one thing i think should change is you should vote on a image not a name , if i post ten images we dont really know which image won the challenge only the artist , if three votes are cast and the artist posts three images it could be one vote for each image and i preferably want too know which image won not which artist

id suggest name your picture in my case "shattered"and vote on that not vote on the artist , just my two cents worth

oh by the way , during the challenge like clare mentioned there is a lot of constructive feedback , this is the voting section not the discussion thread , ive always had heaps of negative or positive comments which is exactly why i post them , most of the time it opens your eyes to something youve missed or overlooked and teaches you to be more precise with your art which will only make u better , i only post one serious work normally and look to improve that through comments that are given which has happened everytime . the final image i settle with has always been better from my original through selecting comments that are applicable and acting on them , sometimes art though is subject to the individual and at times ive not acted on suggestions because it wasnt my taste

any way ill keep entering challenges if they suit my style
