its never about winning mate , its always been a personal thing from myself ,i come from an oil paint backround and i havent painted in 20 years so thats the reason i love photoshop no mess i can work very easily now , even then i always looked for something to finish , i was never entirely happy with a piece of work while im in the process ,maybe a year or two later i would look back and say ok that was pretty good

i always ask opinions here because the opinions here are very valuable in helping me learn , but dont get me wrong winning is a bonus lol which is why i generally will only be serious about posting one main piece , i may post a couple of quick fun ones but there will be only one im serious about working 5-50 hours on

so did you llike vignette or none , ive made my decisiion with the help of my wife and im going with none , i dont think its fair to post the same idea twice ,im pulling the vignette now , my reason is im think if i put that piece on the wall which one would i like and i think the contrast is better imo

this site and photoshop has been unbelievable in making me appreciate art and the process again , so much talent around im in awe sometimes

"so did you llike vignette or none " I liked both with or without as you have probably seen me say more than once on here, all the images posted are very subjective, I prefer more over less, but graphics is a, as you said,a win win,so what ever the final out come is the entree is a win win win:cheesygrin:

your right again , images are subjective and i love other peoples opinions , i dont think you have posted on the vignette before i cant remember adding one

i like it without the vingette more which is really what matters , i just like to know how others think sometimes

most works only lasts here for a few weeks so its important to me and my development in photoshop and art to gather opinions , as you said they are always subjective which is great.

this image is probably my favorite ive done so far in photoshop , i cant wait for the next challenge now if it suits , this one is done now , thanks to all for taking the time and using your eyes to post comments.

its interesting to hear yoru view on more over less or vice versa , i probably tend to think less is more but it depends on the image , certainly in oils it was easy to go too far and there was no undo button like photoshop lol , one of the lessons i learned from my teacher when i was younger was sometimes you have to walk away and not play , photoshop allows you too play and still go back to the point you should of walked

Alright this has been a great challenge. It's past the deadline, so I thought I'd wake up and pay attention. So, closing this thread and I'll have the Voting Thread up soon. See you at the Polls!
