A Dog Story from A CAT OWNER
We must be the luckiest Pied Dr. Dolittle Piper of sorts [stuned] .
There's a band of stray dogs that hang out in a coffeshop near our place. I know these dogs coz we feed them sometimes. Whenever I go there, I'll have a train of canine escorts on my return home.
Four nights ago, our own dogs were barking up a storm. My daughter went out to investigate and to her surprise, one of the stray dogs was there at the front gate with an enormously handsome
German Shepard - the first and only one I've ever seen in our neighborhood. I didn't bother it thinking it'll go home to wherever he came from.
I had to scold the stray dog. What does she think of us - ANIMAL WELFARE HOUSE? ( OK, ;\ sort of..... )
But the following morning it was still there. What am I to do? So I took in the quite friendly canine. And for the next couple of days asked around if anyone in the neighborhood was missing a dog. Even posted notices in the store a couple of blocks down. He can't be from afar coz he still smells nice and clean.
Until today, no one has yet come forward looking for a missing GS. Looks like that stray dog knew what she was doing. A setup, I tell ya.
OH MY GAAAAAWD, ANOTHER MOUTH TO FEED. AND A HUGE ONE ( one chicken a sitting and still asking for more) [confused]
. BTW, he's friendly to our cats.
And by the looks of it,
he's here to stay :{ :{
.
I wish I got a picture to show the handsome one to you guys.
