does anyone have any idea how I can take GOOD pictures of a black cat whose fur is rather shiny? I've tried taking pictures of Agni before, but they come out looking like ... well, kitty poo-poo.

unfotunately, she won't hold still for a while lot of experimenting ... and she certainly won't walk into a carefully crafted lighting situation. Ah well. :{

... I used it on my desktop for a few months. They've got used to me at work - using pictures of moggies (my own or pinched off the web) or watercolours or anything else but the standard patterns! I'll see what else is new on the web ...
