AVATAR WARS II - The Revenge

OK, this needs extra polish, but I'm weary of it for now. I've spent over ten hours on it. But I learned a lot (and realized how many things I have yet to learn). This one's for you Senior (not as evil as I want but it's my first attempt so . . . ) and tx for providing a few of the images I needed!

Tweaked it a bit so here's the amended version:

I should have made a big old blood splash when that heavy head hits the ground. I'm still having trouble inserting new layers without screwing things up. I had trouble following your directions Seniors, but I'll go over them again. I just wanted to get this done. :D

Awesome. Real good one. Don't think it needs polish.

P.S. First intro from H, now this. I feel like it's my birthday! :)

Dance, dance, dance!! Happy day anyway. Thank you for the compliment. I'll take it. One thing I'm pretty good at is varying and setting the timing. Not perfect, but not bad. This had 56 frames. I notice your "AnnoyingLittleF" (which was hysterical and my source for pix) has 101. My animation could be a lot smoother if I made some more frames.

This takes a lot of patience. But maybe you remember when a lot of animation was drawn frame by frame by frame (took it once but couldn't finish the semester, that's life). Well, I guess a lot still is but not the same.

Senior, i changed the timing on a few frames. Then I found I had a duplicate frame on the ball dropping sequence so that was making it more jerky. I posted it as an edit above. BTW, should I post this on the Weekly Challenge site also? Is that allowed?

Yes, i noticed that, very good timing which is important.

I don't know. You should ask H if he allows "blood" content.
But if you'll post it i think that would be too bad, anyway it (challenge thread) started to get of subject a little :)

So, what happens if you take idea from challange #8 tutorials?
Little man puppet transformation and bouncing ball?
And blend it AW style with my sence of humor?

OMG, that's too funny.

You know, what's really interesting though is that iDad's head bounces so well.

And, for that matter, that dvx is that coordinated.

Whooda known!

(but you know what? payback's a bitch . . . but yeah, you knew that :bustagut: )

Now i have that question. To post it to challange or not? :)

P.S. I shoudn't stop taking those pills or should stop taking these :bustagut:

oops, i don't know. i asked him before i saw this post. it's up now so, hey well. if he takes it down, but i don't think he will!

but if I find out, i'll let you know and you can put your totally disgusting one of that poor poor iDad smashing into . . . oh I can't even say it. :sprint:

I think i'll collect all animations made in PSG (AW) mostly in one album and then post it in challange :)

I made an collection album SeniorS's Album: Requiem for AW animation with animation i liked most.

With this i declare that i'm done with animation in PS.
I'll probably make some for my avatar but mostly that's it.
It's maybe arrogance but i think i'm kinda over grow it. Of course, there is some technic gaps with my animation skills but still i'm done.
I'm not giving up animations at all just making them in PS.

I can't explain my feelings properly. I was thinking about it for a weeks so i'll try.

It was absolute fun and i don't deny it. I learned few things in process. But lately i have mixed feelings about making animations in PS. It's not just fun and game anymore, it's guilt too! I start to feel sorry about spended time making them. And that's feeling grows and grows after each animation for AW. And it started to overtake fun part.

So that's it. Check my album if you want too. Hope you'll like it :)

P.S. I will participate in AW but with still images and comments of course. Maded with love and care. The ones which will expand my PS knowledge and technic, challanged ones.

P.P.S. By the way i'm not drunk or druged :)

Yes Avatar wars has suddenly developed into a heavy animation thread not every post needs to be animated all though it still has its placebut I much prefer to do any animating in other products such as after effects then import it into photoshop to compile a gif

I have to agree about too much animation. Probably intimidates some potential challengers. It is fun, but it's certainly time consuming. I probably spent twice (?) as much time as someone with experience, but if I had that it still would have taken 5 to 6 hours. For love or money? LOL. Yours are a lot of fun SeniorS and I'm glad you made a collection. I'm hoping that from time to time you'll consider gracing us with a new one. BUT, understand if you don't.

:yourock:

Stills work fine, animations fine also I like both. No need to post something everyday. There have been only a handful of members chopping, that makes it tough to maintain "funny".From the count it looks like many read but do not participate. I guess it's more the regulars that keep it going but the more the merryier;). So what if you are good or bad at it, give it a shot. Ideas are generated with lookig at the good the bad and the ugly ;)

I am moving on from photoshop for a while my eyes have been opened up to the other $3000 worth of software in the master collection only ever used photoshop illustrator, after effects and dreamweaver with dabbles in audition but wow I am looking at premiere indesign fireworks now as I am sure they will add a lot more to my library of knowledge not to sure if lynda or kelby go into to much detail on these I know kelby really doesnt and lynda seems very basic so wont be renewing my subscription there. I am hoping though they should be quite easy to pick up as I know my way around adobe cs5 interfaces

On the other hand, I have another animation!
Now, if I had the energy, I'd make those lips into a big sloppy kiss for the spider!

BTT.

Oh clare your really motoring along now with all the groovy tools, very good.
