i mean to create semi transparent object covered object

this is sample in Anime ....

so id like to know hot to make a man body covered by semi transparent skull like that picture.
and then how to add an Aura (Violet Flame) effect like that Pict ?

I just looked it up, and found this entry on susanoo:

I think what he/she is asking for is to try to recreate the purple/white/ cloudish feature in the background.

I've highlighted it with a red circle.

They could also be referring to creating the monstrous face in red streaks, which I've also highlighted with a circle.

And to answer the OP's question: OP, you could try drawing it and filling in the colors later, like this guy did.
