Thanks..I did what you described and the path transferred to the destination file no problem....However ONLY the path moved..not the item that the path was on...I went back and copy/pasted the layer separately and the path was no longer connected to the layer... I know ! it makes...

    $1_ M4x1.... Many thanks for the advice !! I have used the warp tool in the past and you're right it does do about the same thing... I was experimenting with the puppet warp and it offered a lot more control and is more extensive... thanks also for the link ! :)

    What am I doing wrong...I create a path around an object ...make it a clipping path and then apply Puppet Warp...everything looks fine but when I return to the path, it is still in the shape of the object BEFORE I warped it..How do I make the path adhere to the new shape ???:banghead:

    I bet this is an easy one?? When I outline an object in a photo and make it a clipping path , then do a copy&paste into another photo , what do I have to do to get the path to be activated in the new photo ?? It appears as a layer but the path won't go active. :banghead:

    Ok !! Now that we're so happy about a new computer ( probably an iMac)...How difficult will it be to transfer all the STUFF from the old to the new...I'm especially concerned about major applications like Photoshop, etc... I know about the Tranfer Assist. but what about the various "permissions"...
