Specific YET ANOTHER PROBLEM

I reset the settings and it's not going to the upper left... HOWEVER, it will not show me all my files in order to save the image to the file I ACTUALLY NEED, WHICH ISN'T IN THE LIST... AND IT'S SITTING ON THE DESKTOP.

Now what?

I am getting very angry and frustrated.
