I happened to come across this forum and decided to register as I liked the before and after thread. This is in fact my first post here.
I have just recently started to actively improve my Photoshop skills by using some tutorials on Youtube. Search for bugmeyer for some really useful vids.
My girlfriend had some pro photos taken a few weeks back and I asked the photographer to send me the untouched pics so I could play around and the image attached is what I came up with. I used Photoshop 7 and my Wacom Intuos 3 to modify this image. The snakes head was painted freehand from a source image.
I think I could probably have come up with a nicer background if I had spent some more time on this. However, please feel free to add some comments on how this could be improved. Thanks. Hope to be able to provide my own feedback on some of your images
