XP to Windows 7!!!!

I have been using PSE5 on my Win XP laptop for quite a while with no problems.
I use a 16GB memory stick to save the files and backup, again with no problems.
I know have a desktop running Win7 and to no great surprise PSE5 will not install on Win7.
I need to transfer the files and catalog to the desktop can this be done with the memory stick.
Hope this makes sense if more info is required please do not hesitate to let me know.

I am not a PSE expert, but I think there is a backup feature for the catalog. Try File --> Backup --> Backup Catalog and see if it will fit on your 16GB USB stick. If it won't fit you can try an incremental backup.

Then on your WIn7 computer can you restore the backup.
 
You can install any software that runs smoothly on Win XP on your Win7 system using the virtual Win XP mode in Win7...search Microsoft's site for the same and you will not be disappointed.
