writting on a path

Hello,

I work in photoshop CS6. I want to write on a predefined path. I have drawn a path with my pen tool and then I used the horizontal type tool to start typing on this path up to here everything is fine, but the letters I write does not show on the path and I just can write a few letters and the rest are not visible and will not cover the path.

Please guide me how to do it...

I have indeed noticed this issue...
I end up clicking on the path to add text to it in several different ways to get the path selected in the way that you want it to be.
So, my advice is select the path on different spots when trying it. As It does indeed act unique for every time you click it and type text.

the letters I write does not show on the path and I just can write a few letters and the rest are not visible and will not cover the path.
Select the entire text with your "V" tool. Now pick your "A" tool. See the large black dot at the end of the visible text? Place the "A" tool's white arrow to either side of the black dot. The cursor will turn into a text-bar with a black arrow next to it. While the black arrow is showing, you can drag the black dot along the path. This will make more or less text visible, depending on which way you drag the dot.

Note that there is a dot at both ends of the path. The one at the beginning sets the start of the text, the one at the end sets the end of the text. Set the end too soon, and not all your text will be visible. You can also place the text above or below the path, depending on how you drag from each dot.
