Wow man, I havent watch that in YEARS, like 15 years or something like that
I used to like it when it was WWF ...oh the 90s....

Funny you should bring that up. I muted the tv to talk to my bf when he got home from work 4 days ago (it's on on Mondays here). Never unmuted it and so I got to watch RAW without the sound. Good for a series of laughs!!

My step grandson loves it! He says he knows it's all acting but I think he's in denial.

AHH wrastlin! The great grandfather of "reality" TV. Anyone remember the days of trying finding a friend with pay per view and attempting to scrape up the $150 to watch a Wrestlemania?

Peta, nothing on TV today is "real" Every thing is somewhat scripted to create drama. For example, my wife was watching one of her house flipping shows today, and the team leader came on camera and said they something like 5 hours till they were showing the house for sale and still sooo much to do. Hordes of people scurrying around, and they show people painting and putting an oil based stain on a hardwood floor.

She then asks "how in the heck are they going to walk on the at floor in less than five hours, it takes around 24 hours to dry?"
I think that busted her bubble, because I had to explained that the floor most certainly was not stained with less than 5 hour to dry.
I said "you ever notice that despite being professional flippers with YEARS of experience, every episode has them rushing around in a panic because the house might not get done in time?" It's scripted that way so you tune in to see them pull off what appears to be a minor miracle every week. I don't think she likes me very much today.

I really don't like the reality TV genre. Wrestling's been around for a while but what really started it was Survivor in 2000. It's partly responsible for ruining a lot of people and ridiculously uncreative and repetitive. I don't understand how people are still watching American Idol.

The worst thing though is that it's expanded instead of going down because networks love it since it's cheap and doesn't require a normal team of writers or actors. It's taken over and destroyed channels like MTV and History.

I used to like it back in the day. When its on i cant help to watch it. But there is no wrestling involved! Its all acting behind the scenes and acting in the ring.

They do act, yes, but the actual physical part of it is very real. They train extremely rough and put their bodies through a lot of strenuous exercises.

Well i walked into the living room earlier and my mother was watching The Revenge of Crocosaurus. or something.
I don't know whats more depressing. the fact that the effects were so bad. or the fact that this is a sequel.
