Working Skull Image

Hi All

Just working on this image, not finished yet and not sure where this is going but would like to hear your thoughts

Started off with a white skull image and added the images in the eye, created the background image with blend modes.

I like it as is. I wouldn't have any idea where it might go next. Be sure to save this phase. Maybe save as a new name PSD before you make changes, then you won't get mixed up as to what is new and what is not. At least that's what I would do with a multi-layered piece as it gets more complex. Very :cool2:
 
It looks like its going to be a surreal image with the clock and boat in the eye, i also get to a point some times where don't know what to put in it next.

Then i re look and think ( in your image ) maybe a theme developing... PIRATES. ...

What about some Jungle coming from the other eyes , Nose and mouth area. The nose could be a cave, Once the jungle elements are in there what a bout a water fall from the other eye or nose or one of the gaps in the teeth.

When i say jungle i mean things like vines and grass and leaves and trees etc, or make it a beach scene at the edge of a jungle, something on those lines.

What about a large piece of eight from one corner of the mouth, or ropes going from one eye down to the mouth ..... theres so much you can do with it, just write them down, play around until your happy with what you like the most..

You could just leave as it as as Ibclare has mention....

If i was going to leave it as it is then i would probably take an image of a pirates flag, make a displacement map of the skull and wrap the fag around it then play with the blending mode... probably multiply or overlay then play with opacity.. but that's just me..you could also use an image of a rock face to do the same thing ... like some one has discovered a large stone skull in a jungle.... there's so much and so many different ways to take your image.

If your already happy then it looks good already..

Thanks all for your thoughts :) I think I'll take IBClare's suggestion and leave this one as is and then take on board what Inkpad.t has suggested, make a copy and work on that one.
Was actually thinking in the lines of a snake coming out of the eye and into and out off the mouth. So many thoughts as to what to do it gets confusing sometimes haha :mrgreen:
I like the idea of the pirates, vines, grass and waterfall. Will try a few different things and see what happens!
