Working on a new Illustration

My main use of Ai, (before I started branching out to Photoshop to widen my horizons), was to make 2D illustrations on a template to make 3D paper models. I haven't done a lot recently as other projects & basically learning Photoshop has taken up my time.

With Halloween approaching, I thought I'd make a new one, as I try to release some templates for Paperkraft.net whenever I can, but always at Halloween. (He's even kindly put a link to my site on his side menu.)

So, here is what I'm working on.

Very nice shading on the stitches. They actually look curved, despite being perfectly straight. So would this be a Halloween mystery mask? (In that there are no eye holes, so wherever you end up while wearing it is gonna be a mystery.)

Its actually a cut out & build model of a Shrunken Head
