Why my photoshop designs are not clean/sleek/neat ????

The frustration in the post title can explain very well about my question. I just don't understand, whenever i try to design something and add text. Either text is blurry, or has strange edges etc.

I tried different font settings as well. But just can't come up with proper settings.

I used to think, that other designers might be using illustrator for clean work but i saw some videos, where designers are using photoshop and their design comes out very neat and clean.

On top of that, the color combination looks great, no matter what it is but when i try those, i don't get good results. I am talking about designing for web 72dpi.

What mistake do i make can you tell by your experience because there should be something i am missing. Call me duffer if you want, but please do advice along with that Your help would help alot.

I think i am asking in general. Making the font look clean/neet/sleek like css in Photoshop is what not working for me.

I suspect raster vs vector, and changing the size makes poo poo ?
