Due to crashes etc and $$ I am on Photoshop 8 and Windows 8 and am doing a book cover for a client. I am having a problem getting white to look white. It looks like a cream color on my screen and I get messages that the working area is different from the file. What should I have as my working area if files are going to print? Why can't I get a 0-C 0-Y 0-M 0-B to look WHITE on my screen?

i wouldn't worry about how it looked on your screen, but how it looked on your prints.

So, calibrate screen and print once or don't calibrate your screen and print until you get it right. There is a direct correlation between screen colour and print colour. For print to be correct, screen must be correct or spend shed loads hazarding your results.

hi, Im just asume that you are using a windows pc:
start>controll panel>search box: "calibrate display"> click on calibrate display colors>folow the steps

or just:
wikihow.com/Calibrate-Your-Monitor (you have to put www in front of it because i cant post links with less than 5 posts)
if you have a printer
