White outline around transparent object

Hi,

I'm not sure what I did wrong. I can see a white outline (square) around the calendar.

Basically I used the magic wand in another file to remove the white background of the calendar and then inserted the layer in the photo. Is it the correct way? :seenoevil:

There's nothing wrong with what you did. Remnants of the old BG are not always selected so this is common. This usually happens when you bring in an image that 's slightly larger than the canvas and the resizing is slightly off.

Turn off all layers except the layer where the white line appears. You may have to turn off al layers and turn them back on one at a time to find the culprit. You might also add a dark background layer at the bottom of the layer stack that will help you to see the white line. When you find it, use your Erasure Tool to remove the white line on the affected layer.
