Which version is best for my computer specs?

I recently updated my OS on my MacBook and now have the option of reinstalling old software or upgrading to new software. My question is, would one version of Photoshop work better than another for a computer with these specs:

I love CS5 and wish I had CS6...that said,

I don't think you will be happy with CS5 on this machine, unless you add a lot more RAM..I would say at least 4gb...8 will be better. I don't know what "older" version you have, I used PS7 with 2gb RAM and wasn't happy.
