I want to make BOTH the glasses a bit blurrier, but not as much as the background... Which method would be the best and easiest to use?

There would be several ways to do this. I prefer the ability to edit when needed. Here's one simple way.

Make a selection of the lenses..........use whatever selection method you are familiar with.

Once you have a selection, copy the selection to it's own layer (layer via copy) Cmd/Cntrl + J

Convert the new layer to a Smart Object. Add a Gaussian Blur smart filter.

Adjust the blur to yur liking. This will always be editable.
