everytime i design a webpage in photoshop it all seems to get about fuzzy?
any help?

Thats because photoshop can only do so much.

when you go to save for web devices try switching thje profile to png 24 format

if it is the text that is the issue then when you slice the psd turn of the text layers but slice an individual area where the text would have been. then you can just add the text in using HTML in the predefined box

best all round sizeis is 1050 X 850 pixels

or 1200 X 1000

Thanks for the help but i do have PNG24 format selected and its just the overall product that is my problem...
and my setting is 1024 x 768 could that cause a problem?

is your browser zoomed in when you load these pages I have done complex slicing and not had an issue maybe change the different presets but test it before you save it thats whet that window is for in the save for web and devices just click each slice to check the resolution is good if not change the format

oh actually when i load it in my browser i have to zoom cause the page is too small?

I have no idea what to suggest unless you have some fluid coding in where the site resizes automattically to your browser window size

google it there is plenty of code out there that will do it.

That way you can slice a larger resolution document then

I have used 1024x768 for almost everything... I save the files as .jpg of about 500k. Then arrange them in Dreamweaver. No complaints for the last number of years...

I even use the size for images in my Ebay listings.. Example: item 130711247054

"..when you go to save for web devices try switching the profile to png 24 format." I will have to take a look at that.. never thought of it. Thanks.

Hoogle.. Why png? The same file is larger than jpg.. and to my eye, looks the same. Here's an old page for a dead item. (smaller than my usual?!)
