Hello,i am new in PS world.. i am using PS CS5 and i am working on it 5,6 days...so this is one of my first works i wanna know what you guys think about it.. if someone wanna help me and teach me more about PS...send me private message..

Hmm i was thinking about making better background so i downloaded lightning brushes and make this :
i made him like a ghost.. pls give me critique :D

I like it.

I think if you lower the shadows just a little bit more, and maybe blur it once more.
But that's me thinking, so.......

and hmmm maybe to make better background?? like moon and lightning?

Lover shadow's opacities, also try using simple gradients with small color changes. First one lacks some detail, you could add some texture and set layer style to overlay or color burn lower opacity. Second one is too dark, maybe change color of "reaper" to white.
 
hey hey, me again lol.

I think you can make a lot of this image in an endless way.
I still like the first image more, because the shadow makes it comes to life.

The second image has too much lightning (try white lightning and dark blue background and added clouds, and maybe a moon).
The lightning also runs over the skull and that makes it disapear, the skull or reaper like JustinR said, if it's to be a ghost you can try brighten it up a bit more.
