I got to thinking what might be the next big thing in Photoshop, what i mean is we have had things like Dragan/heavy HDR effects/fantasy art etc, what next?

What will be the next big thing in shop, anyone?

Don't realy know about the next best thing... but what i would like to see and i think eventualy will happen with advances in technoligagy in the futute ( probbably not in my time ) is that all graphics done in Photoshop would be scalable with out loss of resalution...

Don't know if Adobe would do this as there would probably be no need for Illustrator if Photoshop could do everything.. Unless Illustrator was slowly being less and less used with the advances in Photoshop..

Even if they did manage to get this far would it be out pricing some people as the cost of loosing illustrator would probably be past on to Photoshop...

I'm hoping for 3D improvements including animation that will be comparable to AD or C4D. I'm not liking the concept of the web based Ps with Creative Cloud.............I'm on the fence with the idea, I hope cloud based tech fades to gray. With subscriptions though, I fear it's Adobe's envisioned solution to piracy.

That's a tough one to answer. But whatever it is, I sure hope it is within reason pricewise. Adobe products are too expensive in my opinion

Quite agree with you there iDad as i do with IamSam over the cloud issue and subscription.

Adobe products are far to expensive ... but with large companies such as Adobe they won't listern to any one unless people stop buying their products. Which is very unlikely.. its to big a world to make an impact on them..

Do not agree with subscription fees either.. far to expensive again and think we are getting wriped off by Adobe. Unless your a company using the products or your a free lancer using for business reasons that can afford it.

I think if your paying a subscription fee then when you reach a level that you would have normaly paid for the software they should send you a hard copy that you can install on our PC's if there so concern about getting wriped off themselves ... We are basicaly paying for the product over and over if your an avid long time user of photoshop.

I don't think they understand that if criminals want something they will find a way of getting it. and people that can not afford it will find them and get it..

I'm sure if adobe would put a £10 a month subscription fee in place people would have no need to rip them off and would build a long term income for them and far more subcribers than they can imagine..

Not to change subject or anything but I just got the cloud yesterday, it seems they say All Adobe programs comes with it but they want another 399 or something like that for PS_CS6 EXTENDED........ What's with that?

What exactly are the benefits of Adobe cloud? Can't you just use a free service instead like Google Drive or Dropbox?

Exactly I just canceled lol money back and everything, I figured what do I have to loose

Wow that's incredible, I've never seen that and I wonder how much power you'd need to use that tool though. Content aware is pretty cool but not that good yet.
