Do they need to be stored in photshop to access?
I have bought quite a few brushes through the years, plus free ones (I'll probably never use them all) but I do not want to trash them.
I do use BrushPilot to preview them but it is a real pain in the butt to load what I want to use in photoshop,I need to load them from BrushPilot then quit PS to have them activate on next startup is there a better way anyone knows of here, to manger excess brushes?:banghead:

Hey Dad. You can "reset" your brushes to the default set and remove brush sets from the same part of the brush palette that you add new brushes from. The brush files stay in the brushes folder, so if you want to use them, you just add them again :)

thanks I understand that but is there a way to store all my brushes without loading them into Ps each time when you have lots of brushes? it's nice just to see them before leaving ps to another program to grab them .i think i may misunderstand

dad, do you mean that you've loaded brushes into the palette, and now you have too many to comfortably / quickly review in the brush panel? I think I may be getting the wrong end of the stick...

If I were to load all my brushes to Ps it would take all day to startup lol (if it even would) what is the max amount of brushed Ps allows in the preset manager, any idea?

Just load one set of brushes at a time from the brushes side menu that shows when you click the little arrow. You don't have turn you're photoshop off, and it would only take a long time to load, if you had all you brushes loaded at once, but why would you want to do this.

I wouldn't load them all I would like to be able to add one without having to relauch though if it's something I haven't used in a long time it is usually in brush pilot not Ps
