Hi mates!

Firstly, thanks for this forum, your support and help.

Currently, I need to develop the same attached background for a test, so I would like to know what type of effects in Photoshop I need to apply (I have some idea... I guess, lights, glow..., but I'm not sure) and what would be the work flow to copy the same design (Do I need to "place" the jpg in a layer and play with transparency?)

If you know some useful tutorial to get this type of design I will be very grateful!

Thanks a lot mates!

I would say that most of this is done using pen tool and maybe shape paths, such as the heart and star. As you guessed, inner and outer glows, with a variation of the color of the glow itself. Duplicated layers, transformed and moved. Blur filter effects. The pen tool seems to be the most likely used to create the shapes. When they are abstract like this, you can just play with them. Set the size and softness to your brush tool. Right click the path and try out the simulate stroke option and see how that works. Play with it and see how you like the results. There are of course many tutorials for lighting effects and the Aura Vista Wallpaper effect, though different from this, might give you some ideas.
