What am I doing wrong.....

I did it before, BUT can't remember how to do it again ;\

I need to get my layers palette to do this effect (see picture)

If still confused, where the layer is colorized like the example! For some reason, my brain has shut down and will not reboot!!! | ;\

I'm trying to follow a tutorial and isn't working out the way I want and am sure this is the reason! Can somebody remind me how it is done?

Just right click on the eye symbol and choose a color from the dropdown

Right-click the layer and choose Layer properties. You can change to a few different colours. Make sure you right-click on the name and not the eye or else you want get the right menu.

Right there Moltas if you right click the eye you can select a colour but you can't name the layer

Here is what I was going for -- I guess I read the tute wrong ;\ , but figured out what I did wrong the first time! ?Actually, I got the tute from Rick on another thread (but can't remember which one). ?Actually it was a link to a tutorial site

Anyway, I made it happen and here it is -- Enjoy!

BTW -- how do you guys get the links to come up a different color? ?I've been trying but to no avail! ?It always comes up black for me or if it does change colors, the link properties don't work (won't underline when hovering mouse or link-up when you click on it)!
