weird problem

I don't seem to have a pure white anymore, all my white-ish swatches are now more yellowish. How can I fix this?

Use the hex value #FFFFFF to manually change it to white. If it already says that value, then it's your monitor colors and not Ps.

tried that and still looked off. and I know it's not my monitor cause all the other things I see that should be white do appear to be white.

I don't think I can post links yet, but there's a thread over in the Photoshop for the Web section called "White is Yellow" that has some suggestions that may help (I found it via Google- it's not on the front page of that section).

Maybe it worth defaulting your monitir and PS settings, then reset them to suit. I know gamma can be a pain, but with a little tinkering it should work. Personally I find that if I game a lot between using PS and I cannot explain it but it seems to alter my colour values. I hope this helps.
