Hi folks,

What is a good FREE website so I can upload all the panels I've created for a comic book, and so that the viewer just has to click on an arrow to go from frame to frame in order to read it.

Yes, I promise to post a link to the comic book when I am done. : )

Thanks!

There are free hosting services like 000webhost where as long as you own a domain name, everything else is free.

There are Jquery plug-ins that show full screen picture slide shows which I believe is what you want.

Like this one!

How much do you know about making websites?

If you have no idea about websites, it maybe worth paying somebody to set it up, then you will be able to see what goes where, as it is very much like trying to learn more than one language at a time when first doing this.

Spruce!

The look and feel of what you recommended is exactly (or exactly the idea) of what I'm looking for. Just click and the slider moves to the next frame and the whole panel fits neatly into the screen without having to scroll at all. I've been looking at other webcomics sites like Smack Jeeves and they make you scroll through ONE FRAME AT A TIME EVERY TIME because it doesn't fit on the page. Really kills the momentum!

Unfortunately, the question is, can what you recommend get applied to Smack Jeeves somehow? Or is this for a website of ones own that they design?

Thanks again!

The Smack Jeeves site says 'whether you simply want to choose from our pre-made design templates or incorporate your own website design, it's all possible with Smack Jeeves', so in theory it is possible but they charge about $60 a year just for you to use your own domain name.

After looking at the site, do you not think submitting a comic on there is like putting a needle in a hey stack. Is there no better way of advertising the fact you have a comic. There is a lot of rubbish amateur stuff there, and for people to have to sort through all that just to find your work, may be quite an ask.

Yes, I think it's like putting a needle in a haystack, but I think the internet in general is a haystack. I'm going to have to learn a lot about marketing.
