Finally had some time and inspiration.

Started in Procreate. Finished and effects added in Ps. Fairly happy with end result.

How do you do that with photoshop? I never could understand the concept of drawing something then adding it into photoshop and doing that. I wish I could lol I have a tablet and everything.

I scan my drawing, open it up in Photoshop (or Procreate), reduce the opacity of the layer, and then start tracing, basically.

And I do have a tablet!

I would love to get into digi painting but still haven't gone out to get me a tablet lol. This is a very nice piece of art.

Yes, it is pure, genuine skill, borne of thirty years of toil and practice with drawing, sketching, painting, shading, studying light and the human body, etc.

No reference image or photo used - it all came out of my head.

I must give props to Procreate for iPad (I don't work for them, honest), as I started this on the iPad. But Ps gave me some serious texture, lighting and shading at the end.
