Hello,

I am wondering if someone can help please?

I posted a similar query a few days ago and was kindly assisted. I have an image which was created for me - to give a house a 'Warm White' effect. I am now looking to try and create that effect myself (as the image needs to be re-sized). The answer to my previous query worked perfectly using the Color Replacement tool - but it does not seem to work for this image (unless I am doing something wrong).

I have also tried using gradients - but cannot get the same effect.

I have attached an image of the house by itself with no effects and also the version with the lighting effect.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks,Lighting effect - lights off.jpgLighting effect.jpg

oodya, like Zoe explained in your other thread, this is still just a matter of making a selection of the room with the Pen Tool........

..........making a mask of that selection by hitting the add layer mask icon located at the lower left hand side of the layers panel.....

.......and then making changes on new layers within that selection using a gradient and the Brush Tool.

You must Command/Control + click the layer masks thumbnail to use the selection for each new layer to add. What this does it contain or confine any work you do to just that area!

Hopefully you have a much higher resolution version of this image because working with the tiny example you supplied, this looks pretty bad!
