WarHawk Fictional USAF Emblem can't get it right :(

I need some help here, i've been stressing over getting this Warhawk Emblem right for a friend but i am WAY OUT! :banghead:

this is the best version i have:



There's too many tones, aside from the eyes, and text it needs to be pretty much just a black and white line drawing in that sort of design.


Any chance of some help on this?

nope just the new oil paint filter in cs6 available if you have cs4 onwards by downloading the pixel bender plugin from adobe (its free)

I would tone down the bevel on the lower text though hard to read
