Had this idea for a building that could of been damaged in a war. I think the helicopter about to crash really helps sell it. Still more I want to do, but I think this is a good start.

I dont know what the blue thing is on the helicopter, but perhaps cut it out, or cover it with flames and smoke? ^^

blue thing is fire, its the gradient map that i used that made it look blue

Great start. Keep adding more to it and make it look better. One thing to consider is the size of the chopper and perspective. If we as the viewer were standing on the ground and looking up at this building, I feel like the chopper might be to large. Try just re-sizing it to about 60% of it's current size to give the illusion that it's a little higher up which would look more realistic but this is just my opinion.

I made a bunch of changes today. Only thing is I want to have part of the building missing (like a missile or something hit it) but I don't know how to go about it. I'm gonna experiment and look around to figure it out. So here is what I have so far.

i wouldnt add much just a hint to draw the eye, its a good pic either way mate good job

I'll move the flames, to a better location but in the mean time I thought this looked cool. I turned the image into a 3D image. If you have a pair of red/cyan (blue) 3D glasses you can see it. I think it looks pretty good.

I like it a lot but I notice one thing that stands out more than most, when you look at the light soucre affecting the windows travelling up the centre of the building and the first hole on the right side, it appears to me that my eye wants to see the same light effect on the right side of the damage. to give the hole depth, love the rest of it though well done
