Hi Spokey, I think the fourth is the best version; I like the subtle color. The first is good also but for me has too dark a feeling. The two in the middle have a strange contrast (or something?) and the color just doesn't look right to me.
I find the horizontal line across the sky is confusing. What it does for the balance of the design aspect of the composition is well done, but it is distracting. I don't understand it in either a realistic or symbolic sense (which could well be my own limitation).
As is usual for your work, it is rich, sensual and dramatic.
