Apropos of nothing, I did this today with Procreate on the iPad.

I'm getting more and more impressed with this app, especially with the most recent update.

It is an amazing program.

The pattern is actually built into the brush -it's not a canvas texture. It's a new feature with the latest Procreate update.
they added a bunch of new texture brushes.

I love it.
