Volcom Logo Background

Hey again, decided to make a Volcom inspired background.
In case you don't know what volcom is, it is a clothes/accesories company, their logo is in the centre of the background, the diamond-like thing.
Everything was made from scratch excluding the concrete texture.

One or two errors I know but oh well, it's just for fun.

I love the background, but the diamond shape looses effect to the left because it looks lost in the background, overall really nice mate.

I would keep it (the symbol) more of a focal point maybe add the water to just that, or having it dripping off of it

Thanks Paul! I always feel great when I get compliments from members like you! About the problem with the image blurring in with the background, this was one of the few problems I mentioned, I tried turning the background to a lighter grey but the effect wasn't as good.

I know exactly what you mean and actually prefer your version to mine, however it doesn't fit the style of the company, if you have time google them and you will see what I mean.

Thanks for the comment, however like the other recommendation, that would go against the general design of the company

I would add some outer glow if that is feasable.

I like the OP version honestly. The paint bubbles were a nice touch. Or is that water?

Nice work. I agree though that adding some outer glow can be a good work around to keep the diamond shape from losing its effect.

Love Volcom stuff, reminds me a lot of my Volcom wallet, but the lines spiral and makes your head spin, when you're drunk and trying to pay at the bar
