On a scale of 1-10, my knowledge of PS is about a 3 or 4.

I've got a few hundred images for an online product catalog. I want to have my company text embossed very lightly onto each image. I want to have some kind of SAVED routine in PS that will enable me to just load in that embossed image and lay it down. What is the term I need to read up on? Am I saving a STYLE? An OBJECT? Something else?
