hi , I have been searching since long a tut on how to create vintage looking ads from an image ..i couldn't find , does anybody know about such a tut?
 
Some effects may not have a tutorial, you recreate the effect by visually "Deconstructing" the look, and recreating it.

Find 4-6 Vintage Ads that give the "feel" of what you want to recreate. The colors? The lettering? The Backgrounds? The focus point? Whatever it is, look at it and try to decide what makes it stand out in your mind.

Then try to recreate those elements in your own effort. No, it's not necessarily very fast or easy, but when you can't find a tutorial, it will sometimes teach you more by discovery.
