using my own writing over an image...

not sure how to phrase the question but how would i add my own handwriting over a photograph in photoshop? i'm a complete newbie but it seems to me that i'd have to print the photo to add the writing, is there a better way to do this? an example of what i'm trying to do would be the CD; Company Flow - Little Johnny from the Hospital

Maybe you can just write your matter on a piece of paper, scan it and then the scanned image can be pasted onto the image that you want!

Hmm, you can try scanning it as Yutosi suggested, but the problem you are going to have is getting rid of the white paper around your writing and having it look clean. I have tried this a few times and didn't have a lot of success.

I would either try to find a handwriting font that is acceptable, or use a Graphic Tablet such as a Wacom Bamboo or Wacom Intuos.

Yea, that would be a problem.... but it's not too difficult to mask out the white paper.
