Using Inner Glow to Create Highlights

Hi!

I'm currently doing a tutorial online to familiarize myself with Photoshop CS6, since I'm newer to the software. The tutorial allows for a lot of freedom by being a bit vague in places. Step Seven of the tutorial which I'll have linked below (LiZad approved me linking it) calls for highlights to be added to the image using an airbrush technique or Inner Glow. I would like to use the latter technique, but I don't know how to in this situation. Could anyone respond to this with some step by step instructions on how I could do this in order to get the effect shown in Step Seven of the tutorial?

Thanks!

Greetings Rey.

If you're refferring to the white highlight on the figue's hip, you'd be better off to just use a soft tipped brush. Just size a circular brush so it covers the area you want to highlight, then soften the brush 100% and click once or twice using white. Do this on a new layer above the figure.

In this case Rey, using a filter doesn't really help make the task easier/simpler. So doing it "old school" is more practical.

Hope that helps. If not, let me know.
