How do I create an icon looking similar to the jaguar below?

Thats two maybe three layers, bottom layer as the back ground on it (carbon typed theme maybe), the second would be the jaguar leaping and the top layer the font.

As in, I want the symbol and the outer parts of the 2nd image to have a metallic look like that of the jaguar.
