Urgent help needed in Photoshop

I want to learn photoshop online only. Is there any free online step by step tutorial for that? If there are video tutorial(sp. in Youtube) then it will be highly beneficial.

I hate to be discouraging, but I get very worried whenever someone says they need to learn Photoshop "urgently". What exactly do you need to do to images?

Photoshop is a huge, complicated program that takes years of experience on thousands of images to become reasonably proficient. What are your goals and how much time can you invest?

If you have some urgent short-term image editing project, you might want to consider starting with one of the other image editors (eg, Picasa, Irfanview, many others) that provide basic functionality (eg, adjusting brightness, contrast, colors) without the huge investment in time PS requires.

Will not be quick...BUT Work your images, spend lots of time, and destroy a lot of bad work...You will learn only by DOING. Read all you want, watch You Tube, till you are HD...you have to use PS to learn. Good Luck.

I would start with PS...Learn correctly and you will progress, try 2 or 3 programs, you can waste a lot of time and effort, you will re learn a number of ways to do the same thing.

I like Kelby training...Scott has Videos and hardcover books...great source!

Start by Basic tuts mates (youtube).. and get to know what your tools are in photoshop...
Then go one by one on the tools and learn how they work

this should get you started atleast !!!
