Urban Manipulation


Hey, Inkz, another great one!

One question tho: I know that you could have easily done whatever you wanted with this image but you obviously decided that it should have no blacks and not have really high contrast (ie, as it might if it was a night scene). I'm curious ... what did you have in mind when you made this decision?

Specifically, was something like the attached image too cliche, or did you envision it being used as a background and you didn't want it to compete with text, or what?

PS - BTW, obviously I didn't bother to play with the sky & sun/moon to agree with the rest of the image, but clearly that would have to happen, as well.

Went through many different finishes after placing all the elements but finally decided on a clean finish.

As with most of my manips, I don't think too much, just gather stocks, whack on some Pink Floyd and get manipping lol.
 
I like your look, Inkz. It's understated, and you don't see that approach taken very much these days. Great job, especially with the lighting.
