Here's the deal, I work at tennis camps this whole summer as an instructor. We like to tell the younger kids (ages 5-12) the story of the ball monster. A junior tennis player from the 1970's that turned into a ball monster and still haunts the club. This week they demand proof! I was hoping I could give you one of several pictures from various places at the club and you could edit it with a person that has skin like the color of tennis balls. I picture him somewhat menacing looking but not tooo scary, and as real as possible. THIS IS FOR THE KIDS! So you should do it

Just a normal picture, (might be able to get one with a person in it) and just make the person look like a ball monster (however your imagination might think that looks like), skin the color of the tennis balls, maybe fuzzy like tennis balls, etc.

And if at all possible by FRIDAY? Reeeaallly need it

here's the facebook page of the tennis club, it has some pictures there, pick whatever you want to work with. And thanks in advance guys

I think it would be best that for whatever picture you choose and after you add the monster into it, make it darker so it looks like i took the picture at night time, and you can kind of distort it in a way that it blends into the picture and the kids wont be able to tell if its real or not. Like, for example, if someone supposedly caught a picture of bigfoot they might only catch his backside, or something, ya know? Whatever you think will work guys just trying to fool the 12 year olds here haha.

Here's something i put together, as you can see, this will not pass!
The guy has his arms up, and needs to be more scary looking, the lighting needs to be more even, and his skin more dark to match the time of night.

Hahaha well I like it. But they're expecting more along the lines of a human that turned into a monster. So more like a human figure. But I think I'm gonna save that one you made though just because its pretty cool on its own. Thanks man

Ok here's what I think would look best. Grab one of the pics on the Facebook page I linked of a court with no one on it. That way its from the club. Keep the date and time idea I love that. And just add a guy walking away, like his backside or side, so his face is a mystery, then make his skin greener and then is be really satisfied. Hope that's not too much to ask for. Thanks man really appreciate the help

Consider the fact that it takes time and effort to do the work to fit all your requirements and instructions. You should't expect talented people to work for free, offer some compensation even if it's minimal, if you really want the work done.

Uhm alright. I think $10 is reasonable (about an hours work). Could make a transaction through paypal or could set somethin up on eBay but I need this done today

OK, here is something. And it took over an hour, about 1 and a half. After all, internet pics have to be sized, images have to be cut out and pieced together, tones and colors need to be made to match (in this case somewhat, I hope enough), masks have to be made, yadda, yadda.

Let me know what you think. Clare

I'm leveled out on the guy as far as lowering his luminosity. Suggestions? Color overlay maybe?

Here's one with color overlay on the entire image and exposure adjustment on just face and arm:

Hey Clare. Could you add a date andtime to make it look like I captured the shot by camera. Maybe darker for later at night. And it may just be me but his head looks kinda big for his body, just a tad. His body seems a little too up close, like its too big for where its at on the court but that might be ok. Also I'm not really sure what looks better as far as the coloring. Whatever would be more believable or realistic for a monster i guess. Trying to fool the 12 yr olds here.

Well, I'll give it a try.
OK, this is the best I can do. Any darker and you won't see a thing. Any more manipulation and he'll look like a total cartoon. If you actually want it less dark, I can tweak it down a bit, but this is all the time I have for this project. Give me the DATE, FONT, FORMAT, COLOR, and PLACEMENT you want and I'll put it on. Then I will PM it to you. It's been fun to do, Clare

im going to use your edited version and add a stamp
thanks again :)

They look ok. I would think you'd want the time stamp in some more basic sans serif font and maybe a bit smaller. But it depends on how savvy your 12 year olds are . . . lol. I think they're fine; otehr than a different font I couldn't do any better. I actually like the B&W. It may not be startling enough but maybe looks a little more real. But then, what monster looks real, right? Whatever you choose, I hope you bamboozle those kids real good!! Enjoy.
