Whenever i make a mistake i press Ctrl+Z but it only go's back one step. I cant find the setting to change it so i can go back about 10 or 20 steps.

Is there such a setting?

Also, can anybody give me advice about making a (Simple) mouth. I can only make straight line. I tried to curve them with the smudge tool but it looked awful. Just 4 lines like these guys:

Comics - Explosm.net

I can do the top and bottom of the green lads mouth but i cant do any curves .

a)
Photoshop undo is like that. Only one.
Hopefuly Adobe went much further...Photoshop as the History.
Go to menu-> window->History and the you have all (or some, depends on the perfomance settings) steps you've made.
You can even use the history brush that allows to paint using a certain state...
b)
The tool for that is the pen tool...

How did you make them? With the pen tool or the brush?
Are they on the background?
With the eraser selected look at the options bar and watch the opacity setting..
Do Photoshop beeps when you try to erase?

I used the pen tool on the background layer (and other layers). The opacity is at 100%. No beeps.
