undo and redo button

just a thought why isnt there an undo and redo button on the main interface , im sick of holding control shift z , seems simple , im not joining any more forums but if someone agrees please post in an idea section

because hotkeys are simply faster than short cuts. else you just have another button to cram in your toolbar.

I found the lack of undo/redo to be a major oversight, especially as I have arthritis in my hands so holding ctrl/alt/z and ctrl/shift/z isn't easy.

Life is better now that I have them mapped to one touch buttons on my tablet.

Just as an afterthought, would it not be possible to map an action for each to a couple of the function keys on the keyboard?

I just made these and they work in my copy of PS CS6, obviously run your anti-virus on it first.

They are mapped to F5 and F6 but you can change to anything you want.

I just use the history pane for this, a button would be nice but its not a biggie for me.
