Type Tool

I am using HP Pavilion g series, Vista window.
Using photoshop CS3.
Biggest problem i facing that when i type something and i want to go to next line and i press button ENTER.
It wont go to next line :banghead:

That means i couldnt write in kind of paragraph. For each line i have to set new layer. Help me if anyone can.

Set the "leading" setting to auto in the character panel. See if that helps.

is it so that you dragged the type tool to make a type area, and the next like would be outside that area?

you can just click once instead of drag, does that also go wrong?

Yeah i do click once. at type tool and start writing. when i press enter it work as you have done writing. for now line writing again you have to click on surface it will made new layer. etc

I will pass the screenshot.
Right now i select cursor property from preference PX. character property optical . It working. But not sure this is permanent solution.

Are you using Numpad Enter Key ?
