Hi. I've been ripping some textures from games, but they all seem to come in two different textures per well, single texture shown in game, and they are both in black and white. Is there a possibilty to combine these two into the color image it is supposed to be, or is the color lost forever? If read online about channel merging but I can't get it to work.

If they are greyscale images, there is no color data. The only way to make them color is to change the mode and re-color them. Sorry.

if you go in rgb mode, and make a bw image, you can still convert them to greyscale as well.
those things are just bw

My bad...I did not d/l them, just took the OP's statement literally. and Yep..they are RGB when I d/l.
