Two colors Text


Create your text.

new layer

use the square marquee tool and fill it with colour 1 on top half of text

repeat for bottom half

right click the layer with the 2 rectangles of colour and select create clipping mask and merge those 2 layer.

right click the merged layers and select blending options apply bevel and emboss and a stroke until your happy.

Go to the filter gallery and choose plastic wrap on that layer.

create a new layer and paint in white over the text you want highlights and create a clipping mask so it only effects the text

add your own custom background

final result which is all down how you apply each step as instructed.

step 1 type out your name and create a new layer above it

step 2 use the marquee tool to draw out 2 rectangles on the same layer and fill each rectangle with a color of your choice using paintbucket

Right click this layer and select create clipping mask

then right click the layer again and select merge visible

right click again and select blending options choose bevel and emboss and play with it until you like it.

And that is the basics the rest is all down to you playing and adding your backgrounds etc.
 
I forgot to add if you want a more dramatic looking text in your bevel and emboss play with your shading styles if you change the circled box you will get different effects and if you move the lighting cross around you will get more contrast above that box circled.
