In case you photoshop gurus are waiting for one of us to ask: Would someone please post a tutorial?

There's nothing like a good tutorial to remind the rest of us of how much we don't know! :bustagut:

Just kidding. I really appreciate all the work that Mark and the other moderators put into the site. I stop by every day to checkout the boards and hope to see a new tutorial.

Well... i can try to squeeze some time and write one.

What would you like to learn? :B

PS: i DO apologize for the stagnent tutorial writing around here lately folks. I'm just extremely busy lately. I DO some that are done, but they're slotted to be used as a group project. So i have to complete them all before i can post them. Shouldn't be much longer... i hope. ;\

Nothing to apologize for Mark. You're a busy man. I just appreciate what you've accomplished here.

Do you want members to come up with tutorials to lighten the load?

Well... that's kind of what the "Forum Tutorials" board is/was for actually Moth. You have a couple in there yourself i do believe. But in order to keep things in check, i and/or the MODs have to preview the tutorials and address anything out of the ordinary. And i myself would like to try and keep those tutorials somewhat original; i.e. not the same things you'll find on a half dozen other sites. Keeps us fresh. ;)

I don't mind however taking "requests" now and then. Saves me having to scout around the various communities to see what's of latest interests to people. [honesty]

Hey Mothman - stop kissing up, I was this close to getting a new tutorial! :P

I'd love to see some tutorials on photo manipulation. A few weeks ago, I posted a request to get some help from Erik in the Photography section on a particular effect that really caught my eye.

A few days ago, someone else posted a request to learn another eye-catching technique.

I'd love to see a tutorial on similar "styles" not exact duplicates of the original author's work. I think that might be a bit invassive. They worked hard at creating a unique look & feel and I'd hate to see it "exposed".

And to join Moth's "kiss-fest", I too appreciate all of the effort that goes into this site. I especially appreciate that when a tutorial does come out - it's not a standard run-of-the-mill tutorial that is mass-produced all over the web.

...and Moth...I appreciate your efforts too! :D

Alright, my lips are numb - gotta go.

Ooops. ;\ I guess I'm a victim of a memory blank. The Forum Tutorials board completely slipped my mind.

I know what you're getting at regarding originality. There is a lot of repetition out there.
