Please: how can I turn a picture to line art drawing?

Use of the pen tool in this type of image is a must. Excellent tut I have favourited on YouTube some time ago will give you a little idea of how the pen tool is best used.

Or you could try tracing the image if you have a tablet.

Yes tracing is the only option for best results or you can use threshold adjustment to get your started for tracing.

Using the pen tool, I have used a combination of vector shapes and stroked paths to create this type of line art.
